“I had to use it a couple of years ago on my little brother who was choking on a hot dog,” Sean said. He learned the lifesaving technique, formerly known as the Heimlich maneuver, from a paramedic. Sean plans to continue to help people in emergency situations by serving in the military and becoming a firefighter when he grows up.
McCluer’s Theatre Troupe Earns Honors, Again. The board congratulates McCluer (MC) High School’s Thespian Troupe 787 on being named an honor troupe for the sixth year in a row at the Missouri State Thespian Conference. MC’s troupe includes sophomores Taylor Keune, Dereis Lambert and Adrienne Thompson; juniors Allexus Harris, Jade Hillery, Melanie McCray, Brianna Reed and Tianna Reed; and seniors Temeeka Glass, Terriaun Johnson, Alex Lowery and Sammekia McDole.
