Farr will be Installed with the ‘20 Board

Misty C. Farr, pharmacy manager at Walmart, has been named the chairwoman of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2020. Farr was inducted at the 2020 Installation Luncheon held the Christian Hospital Atrium on Jan. 15.
Farr served as the 2019 chamber’s vice-chair of the board of directors. She has been involved with the Chamber for many years, serving as chair for the community service committee, and has volunteered for chamber events and programs. Misty Farr
Dr. Farr is originally from Marvell, AR, where she was Valedictorian of Marvell High School and a Gates Millennium Scholar. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is the pharmacy manager at Walmart in Florissant (MO). She is a member of the Missouri Pharmacy Association and serves on the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Alumni Board of Directors. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., The Links, Inc., League of Black Women, Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus Ladies’ Auxiliary, and the National Council of Negro Women.
She is an active supporter and participant in the “Red Shoe Movement,” a grassroots movement of women supporting women for career success.

Misty is a devoted wife and mother of three. She and her family enjoy traveling and doing charity work.
Farr succeeds outgoing chair DarlaTinker who also serves on the Spanish Lake Community Association board and is the chair of the Spanish Lake Business Association.
