Christmas Lights Cruise Never Disappoints in Our Area

It happens each winter. You drive down your street on the warmest day in the forecast post-Thanksgiving to find your neighbors untangling strands of lights, arranging inflatables on their lawns, and propping ladders up on the side of their homes. It’s time to decorate the house for Christmas!

Each season, my husband and I load up the car with our doggies and mugs of hot chocolate, turn up the Christmas tunes, and drive around the Florissant area for what we call The Christmas Lights Cruise. This past weekend we saw plenty of homes all decked out for the holidays

We spend about an hour and a half meandering around town, but if you’re looking for a direct route to some of the most festive areas in and around Florissant, take a drive up Old Halls Ferry to see some of the more decorated subdivisions off Vaile and Old Halls Ferry. This area has been a long time leader in some of the more elaborate displays and this year is no different.
