Bingo, Beer, Books, Baskets, and Brats at Old St. Ferdinand Shrine

  The Friends of Old St. Ferdinand Shrine have something for everyone during the Fall Festival. All events will be held from noon-5 p.m. on the Shrine grounds at #1 rue St. Francois.

Events. Bingo, Books, Baskets, Beer and Brats at the schoolhouse; Living History Re-enactors; Tours of the Shrine; Gift Shop

Bingo will be on the first floor of the Schoolhouse. Prizes include cash and baskets.  Pull tabs will be sold outside the schoolhouse.

Book Sale. Books will be sold both inside on the 2nd floor and outside on the Shrine parking lot.  Special festival pricing of only $4 per bag. This is a very popular event so come early for the best selection. Books of all types are available as well as record albums.

The Living History Re-enactors will be on the grounds making bread in the in-ground bread oven.

Food will be available in the schoolhouse along with beer, tea & water.

Four huge raffle baskets full of many items.

Tour guides will be available for personal tours of the church, convent and rectory. Donations for the tour are requested.

Free parking is available on the lot at the intersection of St. Charles and Washington streets (same as Valley of Flowers parking).  Enter on Washington and park on the lot; then just walk across the bridge to the Shrine.

It takes money to preserve the historic buildings of Old St. Ferdinand Shrine. Take part in the activities and join the Friends of Old St. Ferdinand in their preservation of this historic Florissant landmark.
