New Life Baptist Church presents: Listen to the Angle Sing, Dec. 3, at 8 p.m. at the Florissant Civic Center Theater. A musical celebration of the Christmas season with a mix of seasonal songs, carols, and original music.

Northwinds Concert Band presents Hometown Holiday Special, Dec. 12, 3 p.m., at the Florissant Civic Center Theater. Director Larry Marsh is celebrating his 50^th anniversary of conducting Christmas concerts. The band will join with the UM-St. Louis Symphonic Band.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and students, $12 for immediate family. For tickets, call 314-921-5678.

Away In The Basement-A Church Basement Ladies Christmas-Dec. 21, 22 and 23 at 2 & 8 p.m., at the Florissant Civic Center Theater.

The ladies of the basement are back. It’s 1959 and the day of the Sunday School Christmas Program. As the children rehearse up in the sanctuary, the ladies of the kitchen are finishing  up the goodie bags and putting final touches on the Nativity pieces. Little do they know what surprises are in store for them as they are called upon to, once again, save the day.

Admission is $27 for adults, $25 for seniors and students. Group rates are available-receive one free group ticket with every 15 purchased. For tickets, call 314-921-5678.
