Eric Hollenberg, president of Florissant Valley Jaycees, along with the City of Florissant and Gary Behlmann, president of Accessible Play, Inc. have announced that Accessible Play has been chosen to benefit from the Jaycee’s annual Duck Race.
The Duck Race will begin at noon on Sunday, Aug. 15, at the Koch Park Aquatic Center, 304 Howdershell. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be given with additional prizes to be drawn during the event. Ducks are available for $5 and attendance is not necessary to win.
Accessible Play, Inc. is a non-profit corporation raising funds to build an all-inclusive accessible playground in North County where children of all abilities can play side by side. The group’s goal is to raise a little over $1 million.
