Sept. 11 Ceremony in Florissant
The St. Louis County Veteran’s Coalition will hold a ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the James J. Eagan Center to pay homage to those who lost their lives as a result of the 2001 terrorist attack.
The event will begin with music at noon followed by the ceremony at 1 p.m. on this tenth anniversary.
The ceremony will also acknowledge those St. Louis area police officers, firefighters and paramedics who responded to New York to assist with the search and rescue efforts.
The Veteran’s Coalition is seeking information on any emergency personnel who responded to New York City to assist with the search and rescue efforts so they may receive special recognition during this ceremony.
