North County Inc. , Florissant and NW Chambers Hold Annual Legislative Reception at Christian
Missouri State Representative’s in attendance at the North County Inc. Legislative Reception were: Bruce Darrough, Tony George, Gina Walsh, Jake Zimmerman, and Clint Zweifel. Each spoke briefly about events in jefferson City and then took questions.
More than 200 community, civic and business leaders attended the Legislative Reception for North County, Thursday, Feb. 22, at Christian Hospital and discussed state legislative issues and answered a wide variety of questions from business and community leaders present.
This collaborative event, hosted by North County Incorporated, the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Chamber of Commerce, and the North County Chamber of Commerce allowed area leaders to hear from our State legislators about matters affecting North County and the State of Missouri.
Program moderator, Ann Brand from St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley, presented the 2007 North County legislative priorities on economic and business development, education and job training, healthcare, transportation, and general issues.
North County Inc., the Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Northwest Chamber of Commerce, and the North County Chamber of Commerce collaboratively represent more than 1,000 area businesses, civic and community organizations. Christian Hospital hosted this event for area leadership.
