Sunday, April 18

Friends of Old St. Ferdinand will be hosting the annual Regional Historical Society Meeting at the schoolhouse at St. Ferdinand Shrine, at 2 p.m., and will feature reports from many of the area’s historical societies. A presentation by Linda Cornelius will be given on the Native Americans who lived in the North County area in the late 18th century and early 19th century. Refreshments will served.

Ferguson Florissant Branch of the American Association of University Women invites women and girls to hear author, Christine Brumfield, speak about her gook G.A.L.S. (Girls As Leaders), 7 p.m. at the Florissant Valley Branch Library, 195. New Florissant Rd.

Northside Art Association meets on the third Monday of every month 7-9 p.m at the Prairie Commons Branch Library.

Teams from across the Midwest compete for cash prizes. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Childhood Cancer Campaign.
