The Missouri Chamber Music Festival presents Season 16, Hope is the Thing with Music, June 10–21, 2026, in partnership with the Sheldon Concert Hall. Hope is the Thing with Music explores the deep connection between poetry and music, where lyric and line intertwine. Featuring works by Judith Weir and Augusta Read Thomas, the season draws inspiration from the poetry of Emily Dickinson, illuminating themes of nature, immortality, inner life, and the enduring power of words.
NJT’s God of Carnage – June 11-28
NJT presents Yasmina Reza’s God of Carnage, the Tony Award–winning comedy about two sets of Brooklyn parents whose attempt at civility unravels into chaos. This marks the first NJT production of a play by the celebrated French-Jewish writer.
“Nazi’s Next Door: St. Louis Faces Nazism in the 1930s” Exhibit – June 12, 2026-January 31, 2027 St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum’s Karpati Gallery
An original exhibition created by the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum, Nazis Next Door explores the ways in which Missourians, particularly St. Louisans, made the choice to support or resist Nazi ideas of extremism and antisemitism right here at home. Through local narratives, historical records, and personal stories, many of which come directly from the Museum’s own Archives and Collections, this exhibition will challenge perceptions of our city’s history.

Juneteenth / Race 4 Reconciliation 5K – June 13

The Delmar Loop Juneteenth Celebration brings together residents, visitors, performers, artists, vendors, and community partners for a day centered on culture, connection, and joy. The day begins with the Reconciliation Network’s 5K Race for Reconciliation and continues with live performances, music, dance, community art, food, and local vendors. From the opening drum call to the closing brass band set, the event is designed to celebrate Juneteenth through movement, music, performance, and gathering in one of St. Louis’ most iconic districts.

Deadheads in St. Louis know Jake’s Leg. The band has been providing music for the scene for 50 years, playing thousands of shows to generations of like-minded fans who just wanna keep on dancin’. Maybe you’ve heard them in some dumpy little bar like the old Twenty North or at Busch Stadium: they’ve played’em all and continue to do so on a regular basis. And the band keeps growing.
