Saint Louis County Announces Extra
Office Hours to Resolve Incomplete
Senior Tax Freeze Applications
Saint Louis County Executive Sam Page today announced the Department of Revenue will add extra office hours beginning Monday to ensure that seniors with unresolved Senior Tax Freeze applications have ample support to complete their applications.
Next week, additional employees will be available at three satellite offices:
- North County Government Center – 715 Northwest Plaza Drive, St. Ann, MO
63074
- West County Government Center – 70 Clarkson Wilson Center, Chesterfield, MO
63017
- South County Government Center – 4554 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO
63129
The hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at each location, with the final walk-in being taken at 4 p.m. In addition, the Revenue Department will send reminder postcards beginning next week to seniors with incomplete applications. About 11,800 applications remain incomplete.
“We are adding these extra efforts to ensure no eligible senior is left out of this tax freeze benefit,” Dr. Page said. Seniors unsure of their application status should check online by typing their name into the application status portal. The status portal will tell seniors if their application has missing information. Missing signatures can be resolved by clicking the Adobe Sign link in the email sent from Saint Louis County. Applicants must provide the needed information by Sept. 30 to establish 2024 as their tax freeze base year
