Florissant Old Town Partners and the City of Florissant will hold their 24th Florissant Old Town Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 10 along rue St. Francois. Each year the attendance for this festival is estimated at over 30,000 people. Last year, the festival had to be cancelled because of COVID-19.
The Fall Festival on rue St. Francois in Old Town Florissant is held annually on the second Sunday in October. It will begin at 10 a.m this year and run until 5 p.m.
Many favorite activities are back including live entertainment on each block, craft fair, pony rides, flea market, food booths galore, wine and cheese garden and many other booths and displays. Some popular events won’t be held this year including Fido Follies, the Chili Cook-off and there will be no children’s activities at the Shrine and City Hall. However, various booths and tents will have something for kids to enjoy.
Dooley’s Florist will again have the pumpkin decorating for the kids. Music groups will be set up at various locations along rue St. Francois. Amore’s Pizza will have local favorite Mitch Freihoft performing his music.
Once again, the Florissant Police Welfare Association will be hosting a benefit car show on the Knights of Columbus grounds. The Craft Fair area is always a big hit with over 60 crafters getting you ready for holiday shopping.
Florissant Fall Festival in Old Town Florissant is organized by the dedicated volunteers who make up the Fall Festival committee.
