‘A Summertime Past’ Home & Garden
Tour has 3 Florissant Stops
Whether a picturesque garden, herb garden, or something in between, visitors will experience a day reflecting Saint Louis’ colorful history.
Gina Siebe, president of Historic Florissant, Inc. said Summertime Past Home & Garden Tour, sponsored by Historic St. Louis, will feature all three Florissant historic groups: Old St. Ferdinand Shrine, Taille de Noyer (L) and the Gittemeier House (R).
Observe how the outdoors complement the inside spaces. Be it a single potted plant, a garden, a farm, or the wider environs, each historic site relates to its surroundings. See how our ancestors connected with the land in both ornamental and practical ways. Enjoy various summertime activities. Be inspired, and take home your own landscape painting in your mind’s eye.
Sites fees vary by location. Visit historicsaintlouis.org to learn more. Some locations may be unavailable, visit web site for more information
