   FLORISSANT’S NEW ARTWORK: These two murals on the down ramp from the hike and bike trail leading into St. Ferdinand Park have captured a lot of attention in Florissant.

You can enter the down walkway from the parking lot of Ruiz Restaurant off North Lindbergh to view them. Go to the left to enter the park; go to right to pathway leading to St. Ferdiand

Shrine. This amazing mural was spray painted by local artist Joe Mueller. A local couple who knew of Mueller’s painting at Dunegant Park, suggested to Mayor Tim Lowery that the bitrail would be great location for a Joe Mueller painting. The mayor and parks director Cheryl Thompson contacted Mueller to paint these murals and a new attraction for city resulted.
