  2020 Veteran’s Day Parade in
Florissant Cancelled This Year

The St. Louis County Veterans Coalition has made the decision to cancel this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade which was scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8.
Mayor Tim Lowery, said about hearing of the Veteran’s coalition to cancel the parade this year,. said this was a very difficult decision to make.

He said, however, “as the current COVID-19 pandemic situation continues and with the rise in cases in the area, the decision was made to

cancel the event for this year to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone.”
The current pandemic situation remains fluid. Members of the St. Louis County Veterans Coalition made this decision because keeping

everyone safe and healthy is the ultimate priority.

Veterans including members of the Local American Legion , Vietnam Veterans,

Patriot Guard and VFW Post participated in the parade in 2019
