North Boys Soccer Hosts Districts

Riverview Gardens and Lutheran North will be hosting districts in Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer the week of October 22-27.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL — CLASS FOUR, DISTRICT FIVE — Riverview Gardens open district play as the seventh seed Oct. 23 against second–seeded Hazelwood West, at 4 p.m., third-seeded Hazelwood Central plays sixth-seeded McCluer at 7 p.m. and these winners play Oct. 25 at 5:30. Fourth-seeded McCluer North plays fifth-seeded Hazelwood East Oct. 23 at 5:30, the winner plays top-seeded Pattonville Oct. 25 at 4 p.m., the same day the district final takes place at 7 p.m.
BOYS SOCCER — CLASS ONE, DISTRICT THREE — Top-seeded Lutheran North plays fourth-seeded Collegiate School of Medicine Bio-Science Oct. 22, second-seeded Crossroads plays third-seeded Canton Oct. 23 and the two winners play Oct. 24. All games start at 4 p.m. The district champion plays in the Nov. 3 quarterfinal at the District Four winner.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL — CLASS THREE, DISTRICT SIX — At St. Charles High fourth-seeded Trinity Catholic plays fifth-seeded Jennings Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. and the winner plays Oct. 24, 5 p.m. against top-seeded Incarnate Word Academy, fourth in state in 2017. The other Oct. 23 matches include second-seeded Orchard Farm against seventh-seeded Normandy at 6 p.m., followed by third-seeded St. Charles against sixth-seeded McCluer South-Berkeley at 7 p.m., The two winners play Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. followed by the district final at 7 p.m.
CLASS TWO, DISTRICT FIVE — GIRLS VOLLEYBALL — Crossroads hosts the tournament as the second seed and opens at 4 p.m. Oct. 22 against seventh-seeded Northwest Academy of Law, followed at 5 p.m. with third-seeded Metro against sixth-seeded Sumner. The two winners play Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. Also on Oct 22 fourth-seeded North Tech plays fifth-seeded Collegiate School of Med.-Bio Science at 6 p.m., the winner plays top-seed and defending district champion Lutheran North Oct 23 at 4 p.m., the same day the district final takes place at 6 p.m.
District champions advance to the Oct. 27 Sectional at the District Five winners for the right to play at State Nov. 2-3 at the Show-Me Center, Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau.
BOYS SOCCER — St. Charles West hosts Class Two, District Five and plays fourth-seeded Orchard Farm Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. after the 5 p.m. game between second-seeded Trinity Catholic and third-seeded Duchesne. The winners play Oct 25 at 6:30. North Tech is in Class Two, District Three at Cardinal Ritter along with Lift For Life Academy Charter, Roosevelt and Vashon
The District winners play in the Oct 30 Sectional at even-numbered district winners. Quarterfinals are Nov. 3 while the State Final Four is Nov. 9-10 at World-Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton.
CROSS COUNTRY — CLASS FOUR — Hazelwood Central, Hazelwood East, Hazelwood West, McCluer North and McCluer began their road to Jefferson City with the District 3 meet Saturday, Oct. 20 at Parkway Central. The top four teams and the top 30 individuals head to Jefferson City for the Sectional Two meet, Oct. 27 at Cole County Park (against District Four). The top four teams and the top four individuals head to State Nov. 3 at Oak Hills Golf, also in Jeff City.
