AAA Adds Tolton To Large Division
While Trinity Stays In Small Division

The Archdiocesan Athletic Association is adding a new Catholic High School in Columbia, Mo., that will play in the Large School Division.
Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic High School is the sixth high school that calls Columbia home –joining public schools Battle, Douglas, Hickman and Rock Bridge as well as private school Independent. Tolton joins Cardinal Ritter, St. Dominic (O’Fallon), St. Francis Borgia Regional (Washington), St. Mary’s (all Boys) and Notre Dame-St. Louis (all Girls) to the Large School Division. Tolton opened in 2011, began athletic competition in 2013 and competed as an independent.
Meanwhile, Trinity Catholic will stay in the AAA Small Division along with Bishop DuBourg, Living Word Christian (O’Fallon) and Lutheran St. Charles County (St. Peters). With John F. Kennedy closing in 2017 and Cardinal Ritter moving to the Large Division, Duchesne (St. Charles) and Rosati-Kain (all Girls) move to the Small School Division.
In Football Trinity has won three consecutive AAA Small titles and won 10 conference games in a row. With Duchesne now in the AAA small, Trinity, which defeated the Pioneers three times in a row, is on a 13-game win streak against current and former AAA Small rivals. Last year Trinity was the only team to defeat Ritter and the Titans won over the Lions twice including the Class Two, District Two Semifinals.
GOLF — Duchesne Girls play their home meets at Eagle Springs Golf Course, off Redman Rd between Missouri Highway 367 and Old Halls Ferry Rd., where Trinity plays during the Spring (Boys season). McCluer North plays their home meets at Florissant Golf Course off Old Halls Ferry between Parker Rd. and Lindbergh Blvd. Incarnate Word Academy (an all-Girls School) play home meets at Normandie Golf Course, across Normandy Dr. from IWA.
McCLUER SOUTH BERKELEY will defend their two-time Suburban Central American Football titles against Jennings, Normandy and Affton but will also play University City, which moves from the Suburban Central National. MS-Berkeley will play in the Suburban Blue Pool in Boys and Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Softball, Girls Volleyball, Baseball and Track And Field. Wrestling will be in the Suburban Green Pool while Cross Country will be in the Suburban Yellow Pool.
RIVERVIEW GARDENS will be in the Suburban Blue Pool in Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Softball, Girls Volleyball, Baseball and Track And Field. Boys Basketball will be in the Suburban Green Pool while Football remains in the Suburban XII North.
