John Knox ‘Tea for TEAM’ Features Author Elaine Viets

A ‘Tea for TEAM’ will feature mystery writer Elaine Viets on May 5 at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 13200 New Halls Ferry Road. Viets will be speaking and signing her newest Dead-End Job mystery, The Art of Murder. The event is sponsored, by Presbyterian Women of John Knox.

While she is no stranger to North County, having attended school at St. Sabina Catholic School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Viets is best known for being a columnist for the Post-Dispatch for over two decades. She now resides in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The Art of Murder is the fifteenth novel in Viets’ Dead-End Job series. She has also authored another series, Josie Marcus Mystery Shopper, set in St. Louis.

TEAM, the Emergency Assistance Ministry, is a food pantry serving individuals and families in the Florissant-Hazelwood community. The non-profit is celebrating its 30th year of service.

Books will be sold the day of the tea for $25, with $5 from each book going to TEAM. In addition, guests can buy chances for a huge gift basket. Reservations for the tea may be made by email to teaforteam@gmail.com or by calling John Knox Presbyterian Church at 314-921-5833. Ticket price is $10. All proceeds will benefit TEAM.
