Hazelwood West sophomore Jessica Nichols is making her second trip to the St. Peters Rec-Plex for the Missouri State Girls Swimming and Diving Championships.

Preliminaries are Friday (Feb. 21) and finals are Saturday (Feb, 22) for swimmers, start at 3 p.m. each day.

Nichols will compete for the second year in a row in two freestyle events, 50 yard and 100 yard The  Missouri State High School Activities Association Psych Sheets for state review (Feb. 17) stated Nichols qualified for the 50 Freestyle in 25.21 seconds and the 100 Freestyle in 55.26 seconds.

Last year Nichols qualified for the consolation final in the 50 Freestyle and had a 14th-place finish (25.03 seconds).
