Senator Tim Green Brings State Government to North County Residents

State Sen. Timothy T. Green, D-Spanish Lake, is reaching out to North St. Louis County residents by holding a series of Town Hall Meetings this month which will include the rare opportunity to question state government department representatives and get both answers and solutions for problems.

Senator Green, whose 13th Senatorial District covers most of North St. Louis County, said, ” As I believe every person counts, I am holding a series of Town Hall Meetings this year so that residents have the opportunity to express to me their concerns and ideas for making North County an even better place to live and work.

“From talking with many of my constituents, I have learned of their desire to speak directly with representatives of various departments within state government on a number of issues such as the new state auto emissions law, college student loans and scholarships, parks and conservation, and tax assistance.

“At these Town Hall meetings, I will be joined by representatives of the Departments of Social Services, Revenue, Higher Education, and Natural Resources. They will be glad to respond to questions and staff will work one on one with you to solve your problem.

“Anyone who has a question or concern is invited to attend the Town Hall meetings, which are spread across North County. All of these meetings run 7-9:45 p.m.

The Town Hall Meetings are scheduled as follows:
