Mayors’ Shamrock Ball Again North County’s Premier Green Tie Event

The sixth annual Mayors’ Shamrock Ball was held March 2 at Garden Villas North. A fourth mayor, Ferguson’s James Knowles, joined the mayors of Florissant, Hazelwood, and Black Jack as host this year.

Several local businesses donated food and attendance prizes or sponsored the ball, which featured entertainment by Bob Kuban. Proceeds from the annual event benefit Valley Industries.

Sponsors this year included the Delmar Gardens Family, Rotary Club of Florissant, Ameren Missouri, and Designer/Esthetician Karen McKay.

Additional sponsors were Complete Auto Body, North County Incorporated, White Autobody, Lions Club of Ferguson, Minuteman Press, Mobile Eye Care Solutions, Anheuser Busch, Household Essentials, BBi  Constructors, US Foods, SSM DePaul, Yacovelli’s, Averill Heating and Air Conditioning, the city of Ferguson, the Black Jack Fire Protection District, and the Firefighter’s Local 2665.

Michael Riner and Lynette Roberson, Valley Industries’ 2012 Workers of the Year, were crowned King and Queen of Ball.
