Ferguson Northern Lights Festival Brightens the Holidays Nov. 24

The city of Ferguson will once again hold its popular Northern Lights celebration on Sunday, November 24, from 2 – 7 p.m.

The celebration will be held at Victorian Plaza 20 S. Florissant Road in Ferguson. The Christmas parade will begin at 5. The parade theme this year is “Christmas at the Movies.”

In addition to the parade, the celebration features an outdoor Christmas market with a variety of gift, craft and food vendors, activities and entertainment. There will be live holiday music, warm bonfires, Santa at the market after the parade and the lighting of the Ferguson Christmas Tree.

New this year is a “Oh Fudge,” Homemade Fudge Contest. Bring your entries to the Christmas Market by 4. Judging starts at 4:15. The first ten entries will receives $10 in Ferguson Farmers’ Market Bucks. Cash prizes for the winners: $50 for 1st, $25 for 2nd, and $10 for 3rd place. Each winner will also receive a box of “Oh Fudge” fudge.
