Chamber to host ‘Sample North County’ At Jamestown Mall on Saturday, March 31

JAMESTOWN MALL's center court is decorated for Easter and will again hosts the Greater North County's Business Showcase on Saturday, March 31, after a five-year hiatus.

After a four years at the JFK Center in Florissant, the Greater North County Chamber’s Business Showcase will be returning to Jamestown Mall this year.  Returning to Jamestown offers more space for both venders and the patrons who annually look forward to this special community event where North County businesses, schools and community groups present samples and information they each offer.

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor “Sample North County” 2012 Business Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Jamestown Mall.

The public is invited to attend the event to learn more about area businesses and organizations and the products and services they offer to the community.  More than 40 vendors will participate in the event.

Activities will include health screenings for adults, free books for children, a visit from “Charity” the clown with balloons from noon to 2 p.m. and much more. The Black Jack Fire Department and St. Louis County Police Department will have some equipment on site.

Julie Berthold, who will be incoming chamber board chairman in April, is the chairperson of the 2012 Business Showcase. She suggests that patrons enter the Mall through the entrance near the theater for easy access to the event.

The 2012 Presenting Sponsors are Christian Hospital, Garden Villas North & Delmar Gardens North and Schnucks Markets. Booth Sponsors are Handyman True Value Hardware and Crystal Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center.
