KMOV Channel 4’s ‘Great Day St. Louis’ To Be Live From Florissant Friday, Oct. 9

Co-hosts Claire Kellett and meteorologists Matt Chambers and Kent Ehrhardt of Great Day St. Louis, will broadcast their show live from Florissant Friday, Oct. 9, on City Hall’s front lawn. The broadcast will promote the 18th Annual Fall Festival as the biggest and best block party in the state.

Florissant is partnering with Great Day St. Louis from Oct. 5-9, presenting a feature about the city each day. The schedule includes an historical piece by Mayor Thomas P. Schneider, Keith Took from Old Town Donuts, Charlie Dyall a 98-year-old tennis player, and a behind-the-scenes look at Hendel’s.

On Thursday, Oct. 8, Matt Chambers and Florissant’s Civic Center Theater Manager, Gary Gaydos, will talk about the St. Louis Family Theatre’s 28th season, which opens in Florissant with “Caps for Sale.” The touring show will appear all week.

On Friday, Oct. 9, Gary Gaydos and Fall Festival co-chairs Karen Goodwin and Diana Weidinger will preview the entertainment at the Fall Festival, along with the shows coming to the Civic Center Theater. In addition, The Rockin Chair Band, a hit from Florissant’s outdoor summer concert series, will perform.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, the public can enjoy the live show with food and beverages as well as a closer look at classic cars to be featured Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Car and Bike Show.
