About 200 persons attended the tenth anniversary of 9-11 at the Florissant Civic Center  featuring a color guard from the American Legion,  the display of a giant American flag, the singing of the national anthem bvy Keecee Boyer shown here with Mayor Tom Schnieder and Walter Kaiser who represents several veterans groups.

Mayor Schneider gave a short talk on the history and meaning of America’s involvement in conflicts and how the surprise attacks at both Pearl Harbor and the 9-11 attacks affected Americans and our way of life.  These are scenes from the event held Sunday, Sept. 11.                                                       Bob Lindsey photos
