Just for Seniors

This column lists events for the senior citizens of Florissant and North County. Note that some of the activities are for Florissant residents only. For more information, call the Florissant Senior Office at 839-7604 or 839-7605, unless otherwise noted.

Senior Day of ReCreation

Anyone 50 or older is welcome to attend the Senior Day of ReCreation at the Pall that will be held on June 30 at the Pallotine Sisters and Renewal Center. Enjoy food, games, and attendance prizes!  Suggested donation of $15.

Bingo Clubs

The following Bingo clubs meet on the lower level of the Eagan Center:

Monday Club meets from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich-coffee and tea are available.  Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.

Tuesday Club meets from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Bring your lunch! Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.

Wednesday Club meets from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich – coffee and tea available.  Interesting day trips to St. Louis Area locations are also scheduled.

Garden Villas North hosts Bingo at 4505 Parker Road, every Wednesday in April. Great prizes and refreshments  Free to play.  Reservations required.  Call 314-355-6100.

Card Clubs

Pinochile Club meets every Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m., at the JFK Center in Koch Park.

Bridge Club meets every Friday, at 10:30 a.m., at the Eagan Center.

Silver Words Club

Widows and widowers or divorced seniors  meet once a month, every second Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. with a meeting, trip or a speaker at the John F. Kennedy Center in Koch Park.

Line Dance Club

A free class meets every Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Eagan Center. Great exercise while learning to line dance
