Civic Center, Ritenour, Lutheran North, St. Charles Host District Girls Soccer

Florissant Civic Center Park, next to the Eagan Civic Center and across from McCluer North, as well as Ritenour, Lutheran North and St. Charles High Schools will host the      majority of district girls’ soccer games beginning May 14.

The Florissant Civic Center and McCluer North High are hosting Class Three, District Six is at North as fourth-seeded Hazelwood Central  plays May 14 against fifth-seeded McCluer at 11 a.m. The winner plays at the Civic Center May 17, 7 p.m., against top-seeded Pattonville.

The other May 17 game at the Civic Center pits second-seeded Hazelwood West in a 5:30 game against third-seeded McCluer North. May 17 winners play May 19 at 6 p.m. for the right to play at the winner of District Five, May 24, time to be announced

Ritenour High will host Class Three, District Five with the North Campus Field to host games on May 17, 19. On May 14 at 11 a.m. fourth-seeded Hazelwood East will likely host fifth-seeded Normandy while third-seeded Riverview Gardens to likely host sixth-seeded Roosevelt.

On May 17 top-seeded Incarnate Word plays Hazelwood East or Normandy at 6 p.m. while second-seeded Ritenour plays Riverview or Roosevelt at 4 p.m May 17 winners play at Ritenour’s North Campus Field, May 19 at 4 p.m. with the winner to host the District Six winner May 24 for the right to play the District Seven winner or District Eight winner May 28, site and time to be announced

Lutheran North is scheduled to host North Technical, May 14, 10 a.m. for the Class One, District Five title and the right to host the District Six winner May 24, time to be announced. That winner plays the District Seven winner or District Eight winner May 28 site and time to be announced. Northwest Academy of Transportation and Law did not play this season and withdrew from the tourney.

St. Charles is scheduled to host Class Two, District Six and is likely to be seeded second with Trinity Catholic likely to be the top seed, Jennings third and McCluer South-Berkeley fourth. As of 2 p.m. on May 9 the official seedings, pairings, dates and times (and sites if not at St. Charles) were not available and the district winner plays at the District Five winner, May 24, time to be announced. That winner plays the District Seven winner or the District Eight winner May 28, time and site to be announced

CLASS TWO, DISTRICT FIVE — Top-seed and defending state champion Visitation Academy will play May 17,  3:30 at Villa Duchesne against fourth-seeded Clayton or fifth-seeded Westminster Christian, which plays May 14 at 3 p.m. Third-seeded Villa Duchesne plays second-seeded MICDS May 17 at 5:15 and the May 17 winners play May 20 at 4 p.m.

CLASS TWO, DISTRICT FOUR AT HARRIS-STOWE STATE UNIVERSITY– Fourth-seeded Soldan International plays fifth-seeded Miller Career Academy May 14 at 11a.m.with the winner to play May 16 4 p.m. against top-seeded Rosati-Kain while that same day at 5:30 second-seeded University City plays third-seeded Vashon. The May 16 winners play May 17, 5:15 for the right to play May 24 at the winner of District Three and that winner plays the District Two winner or the District One winner, May 28.
