McCluer North Game vs Chaminade on ESPNU Feb. 12; Game Spotlights a top recruit B. J. Young

McCluer North Varsity Boys Basketball team will be broadcast nationally when they battle against Chaminade College Preparatory School at 4 p.m. on Saturday., Feb. 12 and at the Robert F. Hyland Performance Arena at Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Missouri.

The 24-hour college sports network, ESPNU, will air the game. ESPN, in conjunction with Paragon Marketing Group, is presenting the 2010-11 ESPN RISE High School Basketball Showcase. Presenting sponsors for the ESPN RISE High School Basketball Showcase include Gatorade, Nike and U.S. Marine Corps.

The spotlight will shine on one McCluer North Star in particular. That’s because senior, B.J. Young, PG, is ranked No. 20 in the ESPNU 100 Class of 2011. Young completed a two-game suspension this week after games against McCluer on Feb. 9 and Riverview Feb. 10

Recruiting Insider, which evaluates the top high school basketball recruits and their classes based on research and analysis provided by ESPN’s Scouts, Inc. The show airs Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. throughout the season with ESPNU anchor Lowell Galindo hosting alongside analyst Paul Biancardi.
