Her Heart: Every Beat Counts, Friday, Feb. 11 7 a.m. – 1 p.m. Columns Banquet Center, 711 Veterans Memorial Parkway in St. Charles. To help educate women about their number one health risk, the SSM Heart Institute is sponsoring the fifth annual “Her Heart: Every Beat Counts” education and screening day. The free program features physician speakers, “Heart-Smart Stations,” drawings, gifts, and free breakfast and lunch. Blood pressure, body fat, cholesterol and glucose screenings will be offered from 7 to 8:30 a.m. There is a $5 fee for the cholesterol and glucose screening. By appointment.
