Hazelwood Parks & Recreation Plans Ski Trip to Hidden Valley

The City of Hazelwood is hosting a Hidden Valley Ski Trip, sponsored by the Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division on Friday, Feb. 4.  All participants will enjoy approximately six hours trying out 12 to 13 different ski slopes for beginners, intermediates and advanced skiers at bargain group rates.

Trip fees for residents and non-residents are $70 per person for the full package and $46 for the snow pass only.  The full package includes round-trip transportation, ski equipment rental, a snow pass and a brief ski lesson by one of the facility’s PSIA certified instructors.

For advanced skiers who own their equipment, the cost is $46 for a snow pass, which also includes the round-trip transportation.  Skiers are responsible for their own meals.  The deadline for registration is Jan. 21.  But if less than 15 people sign-up, the trip will be cancelled and all money will be refunded to those who registered.

The Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division will be providing shuttle buses for transportation to and from Hidden Valley.The buses will leave the Hazelwood Community Center at Noon.  After approximately six hours on the slopes, participants will board the buses at 7 p.m. and return back to the recreation center by 8 p.m.
