Seven Ferguson-Florissant School District students are being recognized for academic and community service achievements. The honors are bestowed by North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice, a community group that promotes social justice.

Ferguson-Florissant Youth Achievement Award honorees are:

High School Artistic Achievement Award

Melanie Gray, McCluer South-Berkeley High School

Jade Hillery, McCluer High School

High School Community Service/Exemplary

Citizenship Award

Andrew Johnson, McCluer High School

Middle School Academic Achievement Award

Daija Calmese, Ferguson Middle School

The students will be recognized in  on Oct. 17.
