The Ferguson-Florissant School District’s Board of Education has rolled back the property tax rate. fulfilling a commitment to the communities it serves after passage of an August bond issue.

The combined tax rate is $4.6997, down slightly from $4.7068 set in 2009.

The numbers reflect a blended tax rate for residential, commercial, agricultural and personal property.

“We made a commitment to our communities to hold the line on property tax rates if our no tax rate bond issue was passed,” said Superintendent Jeff Spiegel. “Our residents demonstrated their support of Ferguson-Florissant with 70 percent approval on election day.”
