Austin Johnson Honored by Northwest Chamber

Austin_JohnsonAustin Johnson was honored at the Northwest Chamber of Commerce membership meeting in November. Austin is a senior at North County Christian School. He has a 3.62 GPA, and has been on the Principal’s List through his high school years. He has also received the school’s Pinnacle and Outstanding Achievement awards in Personal Finance.

Austin served as treasurer of the student council his junior year, plays varsity soccer and baseball, and is part of the Chapel Worship Team at NCCS. In the community, he participates in his church worship band, volunteers as a floor hockey coach, and plays in multiple bands in the North County area.

Advanced History is Austin’s favorite class. He is pictured in his World War II uniform, worn by students on marching days. If you have passed NCCS and seen a group of students in military attire, it is the Advanced History class. The final for the class includes participation of a reenactment of a WW II battle.

Austin is undecided on where to attend college, but plans to major in music performance and or music recording.
