Hazelwood Central and McCluer were the one-two punch last Saturday in the Suburban North Conference Track & Field Relays at McCluer North High School.
Hazelwood Central dominated boys’ competition by scoring 157 points while McCluer was a distant second with 114. Ritenour was third (100) followed by McCluer North (80), Hazelwood East (78), Hazelwood West (75), Riverview Gardens (74) and Pattonville (57).
McCluer, with 126 points won girls’ competition edging Central (124.5) while East was third (114) followed by West (100), McCluer North (91), Pattonville (82.5), Ritenour (53.5) and Riverview (41.5).
Central Boys won the varsity and junior varsity 4×200-Meter Relay, varsity and junior varsity 4x800Relay, junior varsity 4×100 Relay, varsity and junior varsity 800 Sprint-Medley relay, varsity and junior varsity 4×400 Relay and the Distance Medley relay. Kerry Gibson was the top individual in the Varsity High Jump Relay.
McCluer Girls won the varsity and junior varsity 4×200 Relay, varsity and junior varsity 4×100 Relay and junior varsity 800 Sprint-Medley Relay. Individually, Sherise Williams won the varsity Long Jump Relay and High Jump Relay.
Central Girls won the junior varsity 4×800 Relay and the varsity 4×400 Relay. Individually Sharae Bates won the varsity Triple Jump Relay.
McCluer Boys won the varsity 4×110 Shuttle Hurdle Relay while individually Eric Jones won the Shot Put Relay Clark Tanksley won the varsity Long Jump Relay and Jeremy Lampley won the varsity Triple Jump Relay.

McCLUER NORTH—(Boys)—varsity 4×1,600 Relay and Keith Jones, Varsity Discus Throw Relay. (Girls)—varsity 800 Sprint Medley Relay, junior varsity 4×400 Relay and Bryanna Preston, varsity Shot Put Relay.
HAZELWOOD EAST–(Girls)–4×100 Shuttle Hurdle Relay and Dyeshia Smith, junior varsity Shot Put relay. (Boys)—Walter Powell, varsity 300 Hurdle Relay.
HAZELWOOD WEST—Shanelle Williams, Girls Varsity 300 Hurdle Relay and Anthony Godwin, Boys Varsity Pole Vault Relay.
PATTONVILLE–(Girls)—varsity 4×1,600 Relay, varsity 4×800 Relay, varsity Distance Medley, Destiney Battle, varsity Discus Throw Relay and Hannah Johnson, varsity Pole Vault Relay.
