Saint Louis County Pet Adoption Center and

St. Louis County SAVE to Provide 50
Free Vaccinations for Community Pets

The Saint Louis County Pet Adoption Center, in collaboration with St. Louis County SAVE, is expanding access to critical veterinary care by
hosting a free, drive-through vaccination clinic this Saturday.
“Access to preventive veterinary care, including vaccinations and microchipping, helps keep
pets safe, supports responsible pet ownership, and reduces the spread of disease,” said Dr.
Kanika Cunningham, Saint Louis County Director of Public Health. “We are proud to help
support initiatives like this that strengthen public health, promote animal wellbeing, and
connect families with important resources.”
The clinic will take place Saturday, May 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Pet Adoption
Center at 10521 Baur Boulevard in Olivette. It will provide 50 pre-registered pets with the
Rabies and DHPP vaccinations as well as a microchip upon request, all at no charge.
“Events like this are a direct reflection of St. Louis County SAVE’s mission to keep pets healthy,
safe, and in the homes that love them by removing barriers to essential veterinary care,” said
Dale Shuter, St. Louis County SAVE Board President.
The clinic is the first of many initiatives aimed at creating a more accessible, community
focused Animal Care and Control for Saint Louis County.
