This year, Florissant, Missouri ranked in the top 20% of best places to live in the U.S. and the 152ndbest place to live in the country out of more than 850 cities evaluated.
Florissant, MO named in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-2027 Best Places to Live This year, Florissant, Missouri ranked in the top 20% of best places to live in the U.S. and the 152nd best place to live in the country out of more than 850 cities evaluated.
− U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice, has named Florissant one of the 2026-2027 Best Places to Live in the nation.
Florissant ranked 152nd in the nation, and 8th in Missouri. This high ranking puts Florissant in the top 20% of cities ranked in the entire country. Florissant also ranked 113th on the Best Places to Retire Places to Retire list, and 4th in Missouri for that category. Florissant is one of only four St. Louis area cities to be ranked in the top 250.

This year’s list evaluated more than 850 of the country’s top cities based on how well they meet consumers’ living expectations, with measures including value, job market, desirability and quality of life.
The four measures factored into this year’s ranking were weighted in part based on a public survey of= thousands of individuals throughout the U.S. to find out what qualities they consider important in a place to live. The methodology also factors in data from a variety of government, private-sector, and U.S. News internal resources.
