The Music Series continues on the 4th Saturday of the month, May to September, from 7-9 pm at Herald Square Amphitheater in Collinsville. These are all outdoor, non-ticketed FREE shows with a suggested donation to benefit WSIE 88.7 The Sound, St. Louis’ nonprofit NPR Music Staon.

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra announced details of its April 2026 concerts. Highlights include performances of Gustav Mahler’s soul-searching Symphony No. 5, a genre-defying concert with R&B and funk band Tower of Power, a concert for teenagers designed around film music, and chamber music performances at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and The Sheldon.
SLSO Assistant Conductor Samuel Hollister makes his classical subscription debut in a program anchored by Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3 on April 24-25. Hollister has led the orchestra in several special concerts, education events, and run-out concerts. He has served as Assistant Conductor since 2024.

The St. Louis Senior Olympics is returning to St. Louis in 2026 with a new name, the St. Louis Legends Games! The Legends Games is the next generation of Senior Olympics—a master’s-style athletic competition that promotes lifelong active living for adults ages 50 and up*. Held over and in the days leading up to Memorial Day Weekend each year, the weekend-long event includes individual and team sports and over 90 events, ranging from the traditional swimming and softball to pinball and Wii Bowling. Early Bird Registration ends 4/20; Regular Registration ends 5/7.
