St Louis County makes it easier to Pay annual Tax bills

Saint Louis County Encourages

Residents to Pay Tax Bills Online

The 2025 tax bills from St. Louis County have been landing in mailboxes over the past few weeks.
Meanwhile, the county has made it easier than ever to pay Personal Property and Real
Estate tax bills online. The bills have been available for residents to view and pay online
since November 1.
If you do not want to pay online, residents can look up the amount they owe and go into
a county office and pay the bill in person. Simply enter your name into the Tax Payment
website to access bills and even print receipts for previous years.
Paper receipts are no longer needed for license plate renewal/registration at the DMV,
but your taxes must show paid on our website.
Other Contact-Free Payment Methods:
• Mail: Send checks or money orders payable to the Collector of Revenue to:
41 S. Central Ave, 2nd Floor, Clayton, MO 63105
• Drop Box: Use the secure drop boxes available in the lobbies of County offices
during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All payments must be postmarked by December 31, 2025, to avoid late penalties.

Reminder for Senior Tax Freeze Participants and New Applicants:
The Senior Property Tax Freeze does not eliminate your tax bill. Instead, it ensures that
qualified senior homeowners won’t pay more than they did in their base year, even if
taxing districts increase their rates. You’ll still receive a bill and are responsible for paying
the same amount you paid before the freeze began. If you’re newly applying, this
protection will begin once your application is approved.
