    The Florissant community has lost one of its long -time community leaders. Patrick Boyle, age 90, passed away on April 25. He had a long history of community, education and legal assistance in Florissant, Ferguson and Alton,Ill

His service includes 20 years in the Coast Guard Reserve, 15 years serving on the Ferguson-Florissant School plus was an active member of the Rotary Club of Florissant, Florissant Old Town Partners and the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce, plus several other affiliations .   A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church following a visitation at Hutchens Funeral Home in Florissant at noon on Wedneday, April 29.
