Two Jews Walk into a War…by Seth Rozin will open July 24, 2025. This unconventional comedy is inspired by the true story of the last two Jewish men living in Kabul, Afghanistan during the Taliban regime’s final days. Part Odd Couple, part Waiting for Godot, and all entertaining, this modern-day vaudeville will make audiences laugh and think.

JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF AWARD WINNING CELTIC MUSIC AT THE WILDEY – Socks in the Frying Pan, a multi-award-winning trio from Ennis, County Clare, Ireland (the mecca of Irish traditional music) was formed in 2014. Forged together by a fire of pure joy and passion for their art, the band comprises Aodan Coyne on guitar and lead vocals, Shane Hayes on accordion, and younger brother Fiachra Hayes on fiddle.

2 hours of non-stop Styx hits, including songs the band no longer plays live, executed just like you remember them when listening to the albums in your bean bag chair or on your 8-track player in your car while playing frisbee at the park.

 

Ride along as they take you on a journey through time, covering albums from 1973-1983, by recreating the vocals and instrumentation as it was recorded on these albums while translating it into an exciting concert experience!

The Northside Trap Run 5K – September 6 8a-2p

 

The 5K start/finish line is at N. Sarah and Dr. MLK Drive

 

The festival will take place on MLK Drive between Sarah and Whitter streets.

St. Louis’ first and only hip-hop 5K and festival. With more than a dozen DJs, this run, hosted by Northside Community Housing, Inc., offers great music and celebrates the important roles that strong communities, families, and good health play in North St. Louis. The annual event, established in 2018, is embedded in community and aimed at empowering North St. Louis neighborhoods and unifying grassroots, civic, educational, commercial and residential efforts to bridge the city’s north-south divide.

 

The Wanderers – September 11-28

 

This comedy will be followed by the delicate and surprising play The Wanderers, by Anna Ziegler, opening September 11, 2025. Highlighting two very different Jewish marriages – one orthodox Jewish couple, one secular. Both couples find themselves growing apart as they strive to balance their individual identities with the families they’ve created. Funny, poignant, and thoughtful, the play asks if following one’s truth is worth it, no matter the cost.

With his strikingly similar looks, baritone voice, and spot-on mannerisms, Shawn Barker’s uncanny resemblance to the original “Man In Black” revitalizes the true character and spirit of Mr. Cash himself, one of America’s greatest musical icons, for a truly one-of-a-kind show. The energetic show features Barker in character throughout the entire evening, walking the audience through each era of Cash’s life and music, including hits like “Folsom Prison Blues,” “I Walk The Line,” “A Boy Named Sue,” “Hurt” and “Ring of Fire,” complete with a full backing band.
