Florissant home-towners experience their first Miracle on Saint Francois

Saturday’s snowfall kept us from our annual day trek out west to launch us into Christmas (the rural roads were covered most of the way) so we chose to attend our own town’s annual Christmas Tree lighting for the first time! (About time, we’ve only lived here for 16+ years.)It’s now called Miracle on Saint Francois Street and it was the sweetest little Christmastime celebration I have ever been to, epitome of the Hallmark season. It’s almost sad that this event is hosted every year just a few minutes walk down the street we live in Florissant on but we had the habit of choosing other nearby small towns versus our own. My husband Mark may have to set up a different day to visit our friends for Christmas in the future… Old Town Florissant just might be where my heart is at Christmas time
