9/11 Ceremony at VFW Post 4105

VFW Post 4105, City to Host 9-11
Remembrance on 20th Anniversary

The City of Florissant and VFW Post 4105 will host a remembrance ceremony Sept. 11, 2021 at 7 p.m. for the important 20th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by terrorists. Mayor Tim Lowery will provide remarks to open up the ceremony.
The Colors will be presented by the Florissant Police Department Color Guard. The Daughters of the American Revolution, Knight of Columbus 4th Degree, 1st Marine Division Association, VFW and American Legion Auxiliary’s and other community partners will all be on hand for the ceremony. Members of the 1st Marine Division and Florissant American Legion Post 444 will close the ceremony with Taps.
“Please join us to gather in remembrance of those who perished on that infamous day,” the mayor said. “We will never forget the many heroes of that day. Our community oolice, fire and EMS will be attending to acknowledge the ultimate sacrifice their New York comrades made that day.”
