KMOX & Schnucks Support Our Troops Rally was held at the Grandview Plaza Schnucks Store on Tuesday (July 31). The KMOX Charlie Brennan Show was broadcast live giving information on items needed by the troops. An American Red Cross mobile van was available for blood donations. The rally was supported by Teamsters International and Joint Council 13 and A Soldier’s Wish List organization. The personal care items will be shipped to different overseas military bases throughout the world including Iraq and Afghanistan. Money donated from the May 24 Supper Our Troops rally will be used to cover the shipping costs for the care packages. The left photo shows items being received and then boxed for shipment on the right. .
