Dr. Bryan Davis of Columbus, Wis., and Dr. Joseph Davis of Plymouth, N.C.
will meet Ferguson-Florissant district stakeholders at events Jan. 29 & 30
The Ferguson-Florissant School District’s Board of Education has named Bryan Davis of Columbus, Wis., and Joseph Davis of Plymouth, N.C., as finalists for the role of superintendent.Both superintendent candidate finalists will meet with stakeholders at events in the District scheduled for Thurs., Jan. 29 and Fri., Jan. 30.
Dr. Bryan Davis is currently in his fifth year as the Superintendent of Schools for the Columbus School District in Columbus, Wis. He previously served as a High School Associate Principal and High School Principal in the Green Bay Area School District in Green Bay, Wis.
Dr. Bryan Davis earned his doctorate in urban education from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Previously, he earned a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay and a bachelor’s degree in business education from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
Dr. Joseph Davis is currently in his third year as Superintendent of the Washington County Schools in Plymouth, N.C. He previously served as Deputy Chief of Schools in the Chicago Public Schools and as Special Assistant to the Superintendent in the Wilson County Schools in Wilson, N.C. Dr. Davis also served as principal at the elementary, middle and high school levels in the Wilson County Schools system.
Dr. Joseph Davis earned his doctorate in administration, planning and social policy and a master’s degree in education from Harvard University. Previously, he earned a master’s degree in school administration and an educational specialist degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C.
