Hundreds Attend Opening of Angie’s Inclusive

Playground at Florissant’s Manion Park

A cool windy day didn’t prevent several hundred people from attending the grand opening for Angie’s Inclusive Playground at Manion Park in Florissant on Saturday, March 26, located off Graham Road.

Mayor Tim Lowery and city officials gathered prior to the ribbon cutting to pay tribute to all people who made this newest Florissant attraction for kids a reality. The mayor introduced the many people who worked on making this impressive playground a place were all children can play together. Following a short program on the history of the project, the ribbon was cut and the kids dashed to the colorful equipment that is part of Angie’s Inclusive Playground.
