Polish Festival Coming Back to Florissant Aug. 28
With Traditional Polish Food, Music, Good Times

The Polish Festival, which relocated to Florissant in 2019 after many years in North St. Louis, will be back in Florissant later this month. Last year the festival was scheduled to return to Florissant, but like so many things the pandemic forced cancellation.
The Polish Falcons Nest 45 is celebrating the 46th Annual Polish Festival on Saturday, Aug. 28 to be held at the Duchesne Home Association gounds, located at 50 Saint Francois Street, in Florissant, Enter the park grounds through the gates on Washington.
There will be traditional Polish food available, Dinners will include: Kielbasa, Polish sausage; Kapusta, sauerkraut; green beans, potatoes, and Pierogi, Polish cheese filled dumplings. Dinners will be served from 11 a.m until the food is sold out! There will
also be Polish sausage sandwiches and food available outside under the pavilion.
The Polish Pastry booth will have Chrusciki, delicate and delicious bow- tie cookies, Babka, a bread dough filled with raisins, poppyseed, apple, and cherry stollens, and Paczki, very rich donuts filled with a variety of fruit fillings, plus many homemade Polish delicacies.
Booths will have Polish souvenirs, games, and other fun activities. Picnic tables are under the pavilion. The Good Times Band will be playing in the Bandstand from 5:30 – 9:30 pm.
