‘Music Under The Stars’ Concerts Back,
This Year at Eagan Center Parking Lot

Trilogy Band

The City of Florissant has announced that the 2021 “Music Under the Stars” series will return with different procedures and a new location in the city for the popular concerts. The all new ‘drive-in’ style performances will begin at 7 p.m. Many of previous years’ popular performers from the St. Ferdinand Park series will return this summer for the concerts that will now be held on the James Eagan Center parking lot. The series kicks-off on what would have been Valley of Flowers weekend this year. Last year, St. Louis County COVID-19 restrictions forced cancellation of the series after just one concert was held in early July.

St. Louis County Department of Public health has approved the city’s plan for this year’s concerts. Social distancing guidelines will be enforced. Cars will be directed to specific parking spaces with an empty parking spot next to it. Registration is required per St. Louis County Health Department. Registration links will be posted there two weeks prior to each show. Only 1 ticket per vehicle is required. The number of cars will be limited to 150. No limit on the number people per car that can attend. It is open to the public
Entry to the Eagan parking lot will begin at 5:30 on the Parker Road entrance only. Please display your printed ticket on your driver side dashboard.

Masks are only required when moving about on the grounds. Attendees will need to print out their confirmation and have it displayed on their dashboard. They’ll enter on Parker Road and must make a right turn into the parking lot. No left turns will be allowed. A Florissant police officer will manage traffic and check that confirmation is on the dash. If you don’t have that piece of paper you will be turned away. A park ranger will direct motorists where to park. Each car will be allowed a spot to set up lawn chairs beside their vehicle. (Photo is Soul Reunion.)
