New County Rules Put End to Florissant’s 2020 Summer Concert Series

Park Cancelled due to COVID 19

The Florissant Parks and Recreation Theatre Dept. remaining 2020 summer concert series, “Music Under the Stars,” at St. Ferdinand Park has been cancelled.
Aftera meeting with the director of Parks and Recreation and the Theater Manager, it has been decided to cancel the remaining Music Under the Stars Summer Concert series that began July 11.
The decision to cancel the concerts came after the announcement from St. Louis County Executive Dr. Sam Page, that new guidelines are being issued for the next four weeks and with the rise in

COVID-19 cases in the area. The decision was made to cancel the remaining performances for this year to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, Mayor Tim Lowery said
The current pandemic situation remains fluid. Mayor Lowery and his Administration made this decision because “keeping everyone safe and healthy is the ultimate priority,”
