The 2020 Senior New Year’s Eve Party is Canceled

With the safety and well-being of Florissant senior citizens in mind, the city has canceled the 2020 City of Florissant Senior Citizen New Year’s Eve Party normally held on News Year’s Eve in the daytime. Mayor Lowery and senior coordinator Peggy Hogan made this decision because keeping everyone safe and healthy is the ultimate priority.

City leaders said it was a very difficult decision to make, however, as the current COVID-19 pandemic situation continues with the rise in cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel the event for this year to ensure the welfare of everyone.
