Shredding, Garage Sale Postponed

Mayor Tim Lowery has announced postponement of three annual April events in the city and at least two will be re-scheduled at later dates.

The Electronic Recycle event that was scheduled for Saturday, April 4 has been postponed and will be re-scheduled at a later date. The Document Shredding event that was scheduled for Saturday, April 18 has also been postponed and will be re-scheduled at a later date.

The City-Wide Garage Sale that was scheduled for Saturday, April 25 will also be postponed and will “possible be re-scheduled at a later date”The mayor said in a statement, “We apologize for any inconvenience but given the current situation and the recent mandates it was in the best interest to postpone these events for the safety, health and well-being of our residents and our employees.

April 17 Food Truck Night Cancelled

Due to the on-going situation that continues concerning COVID-19 the April 17 Food Truck Knight event is canceled.The next Food Truck Knight event is scheduled for June 19 with a back up date of July 17 in case the June 19 event has to be postponed.
